How does the world record attempt work?

October 2020 – 15.4.2021: Submission of paper trees

During this period the world record team is happy about ALL trees arriving at the Gratkorn primary school.

April 2021: Sighting and counting

The trees are sorted, counted, documented and prepared for stringing.

May 2021: Threading the trees - does the world record succeed?

Depending on the number of paper trees, there will be a corresponding number of "threading days" in a large sports hall in Gratkorn - now it remains to be seen whether the world record will succeed (all submitters will of course be informed immediately!)

June 2021: Planting the trees

Before the end of school the children of the Gratkorn primary school plant the "world record forest" (one "real" tree for every 50 paper trees)

Early july 2021: Raffle of prizes

Valuable (age-appropriate) material prizes will be raffled among all online registered entries.
